Rasmussen College, a regionally accredited private college,
hosted its 10th annual Community Service Day on Fri., July 20. Hundreds of employees from
the College’s 22 campuses and three central offices participated in the national service day
event in communities across the U.S.
The Rasmussen College Romeoville campus has chosen to lend a hand Cornerstone Services in
Joliet for its service work this year.
Cornerstone Services works hard to provide comprehensive services to people with disabilities to
encourage choice, promote dignity and create opportunities to live and work in the community.
Rasmussen College’s Romeoville campus employees undertook activities such as
painting a senior classroom for the center and painting canvases with clients for an art
installation in the center’s foyer. Employees hope their hard work made a difference in the lives
of those who benefit from this organization.
