Breastfeeding Support Group
The Silver Cross Birthing Center’s certified lactation consultants will host free breastfeeding support group meetings on Friday, Aug. 3 and 17, from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., and Monday, Aug. 13 and 27, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., in the hospital’s conference center, Pavilion A, 1890 Silver Cross Blvd., New Lenox. New mothers have many questions and concerns about breastfeeding in the weeks leading up to and after birth. Breastfeeding support groups are a wonderful way to exchange information and experiences.
