WHAT
Firehouse Subs is teaming up with the Joliet Slammers to raise money for the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation, the chain’s non-profit organization dedicated to providing funding, life-saving equipment and educational opportunities to first responders and public safety organizations.

From now until June 25, when the Slammers take on the Lake Erie Crushers, 50 percent of tickets sold online using promo code “firehouse” will benefit the Foundation (jolietslammers.com). Additionally, three participating Firehouse Subs restaurants – Joliet, Orland Park and Wheaton – are fundraising leading up to Saturday’s game with a silent auction, giving lucky fans the chance to take home a player’s jersey in a display shadowbox, as well as a luxury suite certificate good to accommodate up to 20 guests at a future Slammers game. Finally, fans can support the Foundation during the game by participating in the live jersey auction.

To celebrate the Firehouse Subs /Joliet Slammers partnership, Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation will be acknowledging $89,867 worth of life-saving equipment awarded to five local public safety organizations during a check presentation before the game at Silver Cross Stadium.
