Cruising on a beautiful spring day in the city of Joliet, there were times I needed to reduce speed because of the condition of the street. It’s best to repave our aging streets before they become a liability and deter job creators.
While this is a sample of what is needed in District 4, I urge everyone to come forward and tell the city council, mayor and city manager streets in need of repaving in your community.
Henderson Street between Jackson and Cass, Garnsey Avenue south of Jackson Street, Herkimer Street between Jackson Street and Ohio Street, Jackson Street west of Collins Street, Clay Street between Herkimer Street and Collins Street, and Wenberg Street, among others.
