The SMI School Forms & Fees Day was held on August 9th. While this day is primarily designed for school families to submit all needed school forms and pay all beginning of the year fees, it also offered an opportunity for fellowship, as friends reconnected after the summer months.
New families were welcomed into Cana Hall first and were offered the assistance of experienced families to navigate through all of the tables. In addition to submitting forms and fees, families had the chance to sign up to help with student lunch, recess and Home & School events throughout the year and to purchase school uniforms, gym uniforms and SMI spirit wear. The Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and a representative from the Plainfield Public Library were also on hand.
